Tyrone Begin League Campaign with a Defeat

Two more points from Damien Casey pulls Tyrone back to within one.  Five minutes to go.

GOAL Fermanagh.  John Duffy fires in a long ball and a Fermanagh stick manages to scoop it over the line.  Fermanagh 1-12 Tyrone 1-9.

Fifteen minutes to go and Eoghan Ruadh man Matthew Mulgrew has put Tyrone back in front with two quick points in a row.

About to enter the last quarter in Enniskillen and this game is going down to the wire.  Fermanagh lead 1-8 to 0-10 follwoing a John Duffy 65.  It could have been a lot worse for Tyrone had veteran goalkeeper John Devlin not pulled off a great save to deny Fermanagh a goal.

Almost 50 minutes gone and Tyrone have resorted their one point lead.  They had dropped two points behind following Fermanagh points from Breslin, Bogue and Duffy but Kiefer Morgan has got a brilliant individual goal to bring Tyrone back in front with twenty eight left on the clock.

Tyrone Hurlers are ahead by a very slender margin at the break in Brewster Park in Enniskillen in the opening round clash with Fermanagh in the Allianz League Division 3B.  Fermanagh 0-5 Tyrone 0-6.  Carrickmore man Gary Fox opened the scoring for Tyrone and that point was quickly followed up by a point from Dungannon’s Damien Casey.  Casey has top scored so far for Tyrone with 0-4 in the opening 35 minutes.
