The hurlers of Tyrone and Fermanagh were forced to take something of a diversion today in order to complete their National Hurling League fixture. The pitch at Dungannon was declared unplayable and the game was then switched to Strabane. At first it seemed the change of venue was taking its toll on the home side as Fermanagh led by six points approaching the break. However Tyrone showed considerable character in the second half to close the gap and earn a valuable draw against their biggest rivals on a score line of 1-10 to 3-4. This result means the Red Hands remain at the top of the division.
