Tyrone Cruise Past Armagh In Nicky Rackard

Tyrone went into Saturday’s final group game in the Nicky Rackard Cup, having already qualified for the final. They faced an Armagh side low in confidence and short in motivation. For Tyrone it was a chance to give players some game time while at the same time trying out one or two things . Next stop, Croke Park.

The game was a bit of a turkey shoot for Tyrone as they ran up a first half total of  6-10 to 1-12. They continued to play on the front foot and finished up winning 8-15 to 1-21,

Tyrone’s scorers on the day were Liam Griffith 4-2, Lorcan Devlin 1-6, Turlough Mullin 2-1, Kiefer Morgan 1-1, Rory Weir 0-2, and a point apiece from Cahir Munroe, Eunan Campbell and Ciaran Magill.
