The Tyrone under sixteen side defeated Mayo in the final of the Buncrana Cup on Saturday producing a very mature display with Conan Canavan kicking ten of his team’s points. Aodhan Corry was busy throughout and his goal came at a key time. Matthew F Daly kicked a good few points from half forward and was consistently good throughout.
The Tyrone Midfield pairing of Ruairi O’Neill and Charlie Meenagh won the midfield battle on kickouts and contributed a few points between them.
Sean Donnelly hit a big point towards the end from the full back line while Jamie Kelly made a big save towards the end when Mayo were building a head of steam and were really applying pressure.
