Tyrone Injury Concerns
Tuesday 22.05.2012
Tyrone manager Mickey Harte will be hoping that their injury worries don’t mount up ahead of their eagerly awaited Ulster championship quarter final against neighbours Armagh on June 10th.
Next weekend will see the final round of club fixtures in the O’Neill county prior to that clash at the Athletic Grounds and with a few players currently on the sidelines he will hope that list doesn’t lengthen.
2005 footballer of the year Stephen O’Neill is currently suffering from a tight hamstring and didn’t feature for his club Clann na Gael on Sunday while Ronan McNabb [hamstring], Damian McCaul [hamstring] and Mickey Murphy [groin] all didn’t train last week or play for their clubs at the weekend either.
On top of that Sean Cavanagh had to come off in the final quarter of Moy’s win over Loughmacrory after picking up a knock while Peter Harte suffered slight concussion in Errigal Ciaran’s win over Eglish.
