Clann na nGael are through to the quarter final of the Hunky Dorys Tyrone Junior Football Championship following a 1-12 to 1-10 win over Brocagh on Thursday night. The Clanns led 1-6 to 0-6 at the break thanks to two points from Brian Dooher and a Danny Ball goal after a brilliant pass from Stephen O’Neill.  Brocagh’s scores in the opening period came from Colm McFall, Ciaran Campbell and Cathal Donnelly.

After the break Brocagh’s Donal Robinson kicked a point from open play before that score was cancelled out in the 33rd minute through a long range Adrian Ball point and another long range point from Stephen O’Neill.  Brocagh did remain in touch with a point from Colm McFall before a speculative effort from distance saw Padraig Bell goal for the Emmetts.  A late Ciaran Donnelly free brought Brocagh to within a point but the excellent  Danny Ball clipped over the final score of the game with a free from long distance.  Final Score – Clann na nGael 1-10 Brocagh 1-12
