Tyrone JFC – Aghaloo & Tattyreagh Safely Through to Quarter Finals

Aghaloo 1-7 Killyman 0-8

Aghaloo are safely through to the quarter final of the Power NI Tyrone Junior Football Championship after a 1-7 to 0-8 win over Killyman.  Tiernan Donnelly kicked the insurance point for an Aghaloo team the notched up an incredible 19 wides over the course of the game.

Nine minutes to go in Eglish and Aghaloo have edged into the lead by a single point.  Aghaloo 1-6 Killyman 0-8

Still honours even in Eglish, Aghaloo 1-4 Killyman 0-7.  Centre half forward Gerard McCaughey and Tiernan Donnelly had helped the Aghaloo men to a two point lead but Ryan McKenna and Enda McGahan have hauled Killyman back into the game with 15 minutes to go.

It’s all square in Eglish at half time. Aghaloo 1-2 Killyman 0-5. Followers of Division 3 football will not be surprised to learn that Stephen Donnelly has notched up all of the scores for Aghaloo with 1-2. Killyman have had Enda McGahan and Caolan Morgan to thank for their scores. Aghaloo could have been ahead at the break when Tiernan Donnelly stepped up to take a penalty but that kick was saved by Brian McVeigh in the Killman goals.

Tattyreagh 1-13 Castlederg 1-9

Duncan Hyndman kicks the final point for Tattyreagh as they defeat Castlederg and progress to the quarter final.  Mark Corry and Mark Darcy exchange points in injury time.  Tattyreagh 1-12 Castlederg 1-8.  minutes Second half substitute Adrian Harley has come off the bench and kicked a great point for Tattyreagh to ease the pressure.  56 mins gone Tattyreagh 1-11 Castlederg 1-7. Paddy Lynch and Tony Breen have been among the scorers for Castlederg in the second half.  Less than ten to go and the scoreline reads Tattyreagh 1-10 Castlederg 1-6.

Half time in Killyclogher and Tattyragh are five points in front.  Tattyreagh 1-8 Castlederg 1-3.  Tattyreagh got off to a quick start with a Conor Taggart free however Castlederg replied sharply with a goal from Paddy Lynch.  Ciaran Harkin from Tattyreagh had a wonderful goal chance saved by Chris Catterson in the Derg goals.  Ryan Pritchard pointed a 45 for Tattyreagh and that score was added to by a Mark Darcy goal.  Further points from Darren Mullan, Chris McCarroll, Mark Darcy and full back Gareth Gormley have extended the Tatts lead in the first half.
