Tyrone Ladies Earn First League Win

Tyrone ladies returned to Healy Park and returned to winning ways following this hard fought 2-15 to 4-06 win over a gutsy Kildare side. Tyrone played very well throughout and had outstanding displays from Shannon Quinn, Tori Mc Laughlin and Orla O’Neill in particular. However while Gerry Moane will be delighted to get this win he will be concerned at how easy it was for Kildare to score their four goals. At times during the game the Tyrone defence seemed to open up and invite the lily whites to waltz right through them and that is something they will have to address. Joline Donnelly top scored with seven points while Lycrecia Quinn plundered Tyrone’s two goals. Gemma Begley, Catriona Mc Gabhan and Emma Hegarty were also on target for the Red Hands.
