Tyrone Ladies Lose Opening League Game To Meath.

Gerry Moane’s Tyrone side suffered another defeat as they lost by five points in Ashbourne against Meath in the opening game of the National League. Tyrone produced a very disappointing first half performance which saw them trail 1-09 to 1-01 at the break. Tyrone’s scores in the opening half coming from Gemma Begley 1-0 and Catriona Mc Gahan 0-1. the second half saw the Red Hand girls produce something of a fightback with a much improved showing but they still came up short in spite of the best efforts of Begley and her team mates as the Royals held on to win 1-12 to 1-07.
Next up for Tyrone is another away game with a trip to Laois on Sunday.
