Tyrone Ladies Into Ulster U14 Final

Tyrone ladies are through to the Ulster U14 Championship final after overcoming a fancied Armagh side at Portadown on Thursday evening. The winners struck for three goals inside a blistering five minute spell in the first half to establish a lead that they were never to lose.
Clodagh Munroe found the net twice with Emma Conroy also getting a goal. Midfielder Rhianne Monaghan weighed in with three points as Tyrone led 3-5 to 1-7 at the break. Conroy, Munroe and Monaghan had second half points with Laura Canning getting a vital goal as it finished 4-8 to 2-10. The home side piled on the pressure in the closing stages but Tyrone held on to book their place in the decider against Donegal.
