Tyrone Lads Help To Make Irish Party Feel Very Much At Home

They may be thousands of miles away from home but Tyrone men Kieran Hughes and Barry Corr wanted to make sure Anthony Tohill’s Irish squad received a warm welcome from the ex pats of the city. The lads were part of a group that helped to organise a reception for the Irish touring party at the Melbourne Cricket Club and pictured in attendance are Armagh sharpshooter Stevie Mc Donnell and President of The GAA Christy Coney.
The first of the Compromise Rules tests will take place on Friday morning and with the increasing numbers of Irish people emigrating down under lately, Ireland can expect to be very well supported. Hopefully Kieran will be able to get a few photos of the game and send them back to us for use on the website!!!
