Tyrone Lift Brian Mc Lernon Cup Final

Tyrone youth football enjoyed a productive day on Saturday with wins over Dublin and Armagh in the Brian Mc Lernon Cup at Derrylaughan and defeating Mayo in the Buncrana Cup as well.
Tyrone defeated Dublin 1-12 to 0-9 at Derrylaughan with a late goal from James Hurson finally securing the win. Other scorers on the day were Thomas Mc Elholm, Senan Donnelly, James Mc Ginley and Dara Mc Garvey.
Against Armagh Tyrone conceded a goal straight from the throw in. However they refused to let that upset their rhythm and instead dominated the remainder of the game to win 2-15 to 1-6.
Tyrone’s goals came from Marcus Mc Laughlin and Ciaran Mc Keown on the day while Finbar Quinn, Eoin Ferguson, Conor Fyffe, Cormac Darcy, Aaron Quinn Murphy and Fionn Daly were among the points.
