Tyrone manager Mickey Harte has made several changes for tomorrow night’s Barrett Lighting Mc Kenna Cup game against Fermanagh. There are five changes in defence with Pascal Mc Connell starting in goal and PJ Quinn and Damian Mc Caul coming in for Marty Swift and Aidan Mc Crory in the two corner back positions. Conor Gormley who missed Sunday’s victory over Donegal due to a family bereavement returns to centre half back where he is flanked by Davy Harte and debutant Stephen Mc Nally from Coalisland. Kevin Hughes is rewarded for his superb second half display on Sunday last by starting at eight where he is partnered by Sean Cavanagh. The half forward line also looks more than formidable with Brian Mc Guigan in the centre flanked by Martin Penrose and Enda Mc Ginley. Stephen O’Neill will make his return to full forward on the pitch where he suffered that serious elbow injury in the Mc Kenna Cup Final of last year. The Clann na Gael man will have the two youngest members of the squad for company with Paddy Mc Niece and Ciaran Girvan being given further chances to impress at thirteen and fifteen respectively. All in all a team with a youthful look but backboned by huge experience. Donegal’s Jim Mc Guinness must be looking enviously at the panel that Mickey Harte has to choose from while he appears to be struggling to field a team for their next game.
