Tyrone produced a superb display at Lacken on Saturday afternoon to qualify for the All Ireland Masters final when they overcame Sligo on a 0-18 to 2-8 victory. The victory was more comprehensive than the final scoreline might suggest with the Connaught men grabbing their second goal in the closing moments of the contest.

The Red Hands led 0-9 to 0-4 at the break with Conrad Quinn, Damian Patton and midfielder Eoin Gormley among their points. Both sides traded scores on the restart before Sligo bagged their first goal. That only served to sting Eugene Bradley’s men into action as Quinn, Damian McCrory, Patton, Gormley and substitute Mark Donnelly all tagged on points to leave them well in control. Sligo found the net late on but it was only of consolation value. Tyrone now meet either Donegal or Dublin in the final, the second semi final at the same venue ending in a stalemate.   The Tyrone Masters management and squad wish to thank Quinns Coaches, Moortown for their continued support.
