Conway followed up with another point before Antrim got a point from play from Michael Mc Carry. Mc Cann came forward again to kick a great point to galvanise Tyrone.
This was followed by another Donnelly major after he had missed his second penalty which was well saved and after a poor clearance it came into Donnelly’s hands and he made no mistake with a clinical finish to put Tyrone firmly in control. A further point from full forward Michael Anderson left Tyrone with a comfortable lead at half time of 2-6 to 0-4

Tyrone opened the scoring in the second half courtesy of Johnny O’Neill. Antrim responded positively and hit the next two scores but Tyrone replied with points from Mc Grath, Donnelly Conor Gormley and two more from marauding wing back Mc Cann.
Antrim kept plugging away to their credit and got a point from Darren Craig before Tyrone finished the scoring with the evergreen Plunkett Touhey splitting the posts to leave Tyrone winning 2-13 to 0-7.
Tyrone have now topped the group on 10 points with 4 other teams namely Dublin Donegal Kerry and Sligo and await confirmation of their next battle in two weeks time.
