Tyrone Minors Cruise to Victory Over Donegal

Tyrone minors continued their perfect start to their season with a dominant performance against Donegal in Carndonagh. Catherine Moohan got the team up and running with two early points before Kate McKee pulled off an impressive backward flick into the net, finishing a great piece of skill from captain Niamh McElduff. Tyrone had most of the ball in the opening half but couldn’t fully capitalise on it adding just two more points through Moohan and Emer Cunningham before the break. Donegal, meanwhile, found it tough to break through Tyrone’s rock-solid defence.

The second half saw a flurry of action, with both teams making substitutions. Tyrone continued their dominance, adding points from play before Sorcha Hughes fired in a stunning goal from distance, all but sealing the win. Emer Cunningham then took matters into her own hands, charging the length of the field before slamming home another goal.

As the game drew to its inevitable conclusion Tyrone’s teamwork shone through, with Moohan rounding off the scoring in what was a statement performance. With a tougher test against Cavan on the horizon, Sean Moohan’s side will take plenty of confidence from this display and result.
