Tyrone Minors Enjoy Comfortable Win.

On a cold wet and windy day Tyrone built up an impressive half time fourteen points to two lead over Derry. With the aid of a stiff breeze Mickey Donnelly’s side made light of the trying conditions to rattle off some fine scores. David Mulgrew top scored with four fine points but the home side faced a challenging set of circumstances when they battled the elements for the second period.
However Tyrone maintained their fine first half form adding 2-5 into the breeze to complete a 2-19 to 0-4 win. Second half goals from Pauric Mc Anenly and Jonah Lafferty plus three points from sub Thomas Carney put the icing on the cake of a fine team display.
Next up for the young Red Hands is a meeting next Saturday in Letterkenny with Donegal.
