Tyrone Minors Lose Out to Fermanagh
Saturday 01.04.2017

Fermanagh minors secured a fully merited five point win over Tyrone in Irvinestown on Saturday afternoon in round three of the Ulster Minor football league. The hosts had the lead at the break 1-4 to 0-4. Catheir Gallagher hit three of the first half points for the visors from frees, Tyrone having trailed 1-2 to 0-1 after 18 minutes.
After the break Tyrone found it extremely difficult to break down a well organised Fermanagh defence. Having failed to score for some for some 27 minutes of the second period Fermanagh finished the strongest hitting Tyrone for 1-2 in the closing minutes thanks to an Eoin Beacom penalty and a couple of points off the boot of Lorcan McStravick
