Tyrone referee Martin Sludden will be the man in the middle on Sunday afternoon when two of Ulster’s heavyweights meet in the provincial club series. Ballinderry will take on reigning champions Crossmaglen in the first of this year’s semi finals and Dromore man Sludden is the man charged with officiating in this one.
Sludden has been one of Tyrone’s top referees for a number of years and has been the man in the middle when these teams met previously in the Ulster Club Championship. Of course he will not be the only Tyrone man in action on Sunday in Casement Park as Derrytresk will also be in action in their Ulster semi final. We hope that both have a successful day and that all goes well for them.
