Tyrone Senior Hurlers Cruise Past Armagh
Saturday 07.03.2026
Tyrone hosted Armagh in their final game of the National League hoping to finish strongly. With Mickey Little and Turloough Mullan in fine form they did just that and a bit more as they reached the half time whistle leading 3-14 to 0-4.

Mickey Little hit 0-9 while Turlough Mullan weighed in with 1-5 and Aidan Kelly contributed 1-2 as the Red Hands saw off the challenge of their near neighbours. Playing wind assisted in the first half Tyrone were on top from the start and soon traced into a 0-6 to 0-2 lead with Kelly, Little and Mullan causing all sorts of problems for the Orchard men. Mullan, Kelly and Ciaran Magill each found the net in a dominant first half.

The second half saw both sides make a number of changes but Tyrone remained on top and created several excellent chances of goals but a mixture of good goal keeping and poor finishing helped keep the score down. The second half lacked the urgency of the first but Tyrone were not to be denied and the game ended 3-22 to 0-11 in favour of the Red Hands.
