Tyrone Team Named

The Tyrone team to face Armagh in the opening round of the Ulster senior championship was named at Kellys Inn tonight. The McMahon brothers Justin and Joe both return from injury and are named at full back and midfield respectively with Dermot Carlin picked at left corner back in the absence of the injured PJ Quinn. Conor Gormley, one of only three players who played in the 2003 All Ireland final, lines out at centre half back with Peter Harte moved to left half forward, a position he played at in his last appearance at the Athletic Grounds when Ulster won the Inter Provincial series. Ronan McNabb has shook off his injury and will play at number ten with team captain Stephen O’Neill at full forward with Owen Mulligan and Martin Penrose listed either side of him.
