St Eugene’s High School Castlederg 0-7 V Sacred Heart College Omagh 7-10

Sacred Heart College eased into the next round of the U14 Tyrone Vocationals competition after a comprehensive victory over St Eugene’s High School, Castlederg in a windswept Marius McHugh Memorial Park in Castlederg on Tuesday. The Omagh based side moved into a 2-7 to 0-6 lead at half time and moved further clear after the break. Best for St Eugene’s were Dillon McDaid and Daire Keys in defence and Conor Logue and Shane Dolan also showed up well for the Castlederg based side. Eamon Rea was the main scorer for the Sacred Heart and was well supported by A Coleman and Cathal Leadley. Sacred Heart College now player the winners of the tie between Dean Maguirc College Carrickmore and St John’s Business and Enterprise College Dromore while St Eugene’s play the losers of this tie in a new qualifier format.
