Tyrone 6-26 0-6 Fermanagh

All Ireland champions Tyrone ruthlessly swept aside the challenge of Fermanagh, under the lights at O’Neill Park, Dungannon. Three goals in each half from Tyrone illustrated the gulf between the teams, despite the best efforts of Fermanagh, who kept playing until the final whistle.

Shay Deazley opened the scoring with a point for Fermanagh, but a third minute goal from Ruairi McCullagh after a fine Eoin McElholm pass set Tyrone on their way. A tenth minute goal from Conan Devlin after a one two with Conall Sheehy, saw the lead stretch to ten. Just before half time Liam Og Mossey fired in number three as Tyrone led 3-11 to 0-4 at the break.

The second half followed a similar pattern to the first. Fiachra Nelis raced through to smash in goal number four early in the second period. On the night, Tyrone had fourteen different scorers, with Noah Grimes top scoring with 0-7. Darragh Donaghy and Eoin McElholm getting the other goals.

The home side kicked 6-24 from play as they made it two wins from two. Next week, the Red Hands travel to Ballybofey to face Donegal, who are also unbeaten.
