Tyrone manager Raymond Munroe has named an experienced team for Wednesday night’s joust with Fermanagh in the Ulster Under21 Championship. With several of the squad making a name for themselves in the senior set up the Carrickmore man will be hoping the likes of Ronan O’Neill and Conor Clarke can use their experience to benefit the under 21s. Indeed he has chosen O’Neill as captain of the side which is a great vote of confidence in itself for the young player.

Many on this panel were on the All Ireland Minor winning side of 2010 and they will be keen to show they have not lost any of that winning mentality. In addition to a strong looking team Munroe and his co-manager Cathal Mc Anenly have a high quality bench to call on if needed. Players like John Mc Cullagh, Caolan Daly, Liam Gervin, Richie Donnelly and Conan Grugan will be more than capable of coming off the bench to do a job if required.

The match against Fermanagh at Brewster Park has a 8:00 pm starting time and is sure to attract a large crowd especially with the Erne County in flying form presently. Many of the young Erne stars will be more than keen to impress senior manager Peter Canavan and with Tyrone as the opposition they will need no greater motivation.

Team to face Fermanagh is as follows: D Mc Anenly, B Tierney, D Mc Nally, HP Mc Geary, N Sludden, S Warnock, T Mc Cann, H Og Conlon, C Clarke, S Tierney, T Canavan, B Mc Garvey, D Mc Curry, C Mc Aliskey, R O’Neill (captain).
