Tyrone will line out as follows for the Shield Semi final: C Gilmore, M Mannelly, K Gormley, K Hughes, G Mc Namee, R Devlin, S P Mc Guckin, E Duffin, C Mc Crudden, C Devlin, R Mc Kernan, B Mc Gurk, D Marshall, M Mulgrew, J Maxwell.

Ten minutes into the game and it is a point apiece, a game of few chances so far.

Tyrone lead 1-03 to a point twenty minutes in with the goal coming from full forward Mulgrew.

With half time only minutes away Fermanagh find the net and it really is game on. Tyrone 1-4, Fermanagh 1-1.

A yellow card for Tyrone corner back Mannelly and the game remains 1-4 to 1-1 for Tyrone. The wind is making life difficult for both sides with some very easy chances missed.

The second half has seen a major change in the game with a couple of early Fermanagh goals putting them into a commanding position as midway through the second half the Erne county lead 3-4 to 1-4. However Tyrone stage something of a comeback with two points to leave four between the sides with ten minutes left. Can the young Red Hands do enough to get a win in this one? P Mc Cusker replaces Mc Kernan for Tyrone.

Tyrone reduce the deficit to three points but time is against them and it looks like Fermanagh could gain revenge for their Minor League defeat as they lead 3-4 to 1-7 with time almost up.

Sadly for Declan Bennett’s side there was to be no fairytale ending and Fermanagh held on to their three point lead to win 3-4 to 1-7.
