Lisa McAliskey, Ulster Regional Development Officer, will be running an observation training session in Edendork at 7:00pm on Monday evening.

It is primarily aimed at coaches who are working with u10 and u12 age categories. However there is no reason any club coach cannot attend. Lisa will be coaching the U10 Edendork camogs throughout the session and will be coaching skills through conditioned games adjusting them in terms of difficulty to reflect the ability levels. There will also include warm-up ideas that coaches may not have used before.

Weather depending, it will run outdoors but Edendork hall will also be available should the weather cause problems. The sessions will all be outdoor related in their content.

If there is sufficient interest and enough willing participants Lisa will run a second CPD in Tyrone in the New Year. So let’s get our coaches out to this free event.

The county senior camogs met with their new manager to discuss the season ahead. There was a massive turnout and it was agreed that training will begin in the second week of January in preparation for the National League. The team will take part in a fundraising quiz on December 1st at 5:00pm in Mc Aleers Bar in Dungannon.

The county under 14 presentation evening will be in Quinn’s Corner on November 22nd at 6:45pm. The evening will include presentations to the under 14’s and under 16 players from 2012 and 2013. The event will consist of a dinner followed by a presentation of the players Ulster medals and a disco to end the evening. All clubs are reminded that their players are to accompanied by a parent/guardian unless their club has an adult who will take responsibility for their players.
St Josephs Grammar school Donaghmore lost out in the Ulster U16 Schools final on Friday afternoon at the MUSA complex in Cookstown. The team is managed by Tyrone county senior players Siobhan Hughes and Niamh McNulty.

The annual Teamtalkmag.com award nominations have been released.
