U 14 Hurling League Titles Go West

Omagh St Endas and Killyclogher claimed the under fourteen Grades 1 and 2 hurling titles on Saturday morning defeating Dungannon Eoghain Ruadh and Tulach Óg.

The first of the double header saw Omagh claim their first Grade One under 14 title in over thirty years as they produced a dominant display to see off the challenge of the East Tyrone kingpins from Dungannon. Matt Gallagher, Sean Kearney, Conall Mc Caffrey, Ronan O’Neill and Cathal Tierney stood out in what was a really good team display.

Final score was a convincing 2-10 to 0-5 win for St Endas.

Game two saw Cappagh lock horns with Tulach Óg. After a close and competitive first half the Killyclogher lads led 3-2 to 2-4. They continued to boss the game with strong displays from team captain Shea Mc Ginn, Ronan Barton, Emmett Mc Glinchey, Ronan Broderick, Conall Mc Kenna, Louie Mc Fadden, Conall Mc Closkey, Nico Protsyuk and Harry Walsh helping their side to a 9-06 to 3-6 win over their opponents.

Best for the opposition were Conor Mc Cabe, Cormac Quinn, Cathaoir Quinn and James Carrigan.
