Ardboe will play Errigal Ciaran in the grade one U14 Championship final after the Rossas ended the treble dreams of Dromore with a superb 2-9 to 0-11 victory at Loughmacrory. Callum McGuigan got both goals for the winners with Eugene Teague, Colin Devlin, Cormac Morgan and Ronan Cassidy all featuring among the points. Dromore, who had added the league title to their Feile crown on Wednesday evening, had points from Oran Sludden [7], Ruairi Gallagher, Odhran Rafferty and Cahir Goodwin.

Urney defeated Fintona 4-19 to 0-3 with eleven year old Tiarnan Langan landing half a dozen points for the winners on a day when they had good displays from Jason Langan, Liam Langan, Ryan Wray, Jake Rafferty and keeper Michael Quinn. Rock beat Stewartstown after extra time while Omagh made it through to the final when they had three points to spare over Donaghmore. The St.Endas’ opponents in the grade two final will be Loughmacrory who were emphatic 2-8 to 1-3 winners over Killeeshil.

Castlederg and Eglish played out a high scoring and highly entertaining championship semi final that finished all square on a final score of 6-12 to 8-06. Castlederg were thirteen points down with fifteen minutes remaining but showed great hunger and battling qualities to close the gap and even move three points in front entering injury time. A gallant Eglish side were not to be denied however and goaled right at the death to take the game to a replay. Conall Harper, Conor Keyes, Darren and Adam Traynor, Liam Harper, Shane Carlin, Conor Rampsey, Ben Harper and Lorcan Mc Guigan all played well in what was a very good all round team display from the Castlederg lads.
