The latest round of U14 league fixtures took place on Wednesday night and once again there was plenty of exciting fare served up right across the four grades. Dromore and Cappagh served up a real thriller in a contest that finished 3-13 each. Emmett McNabb was in superb form for the St.Dympnas hitting 2-6 with Oran Sludden 1-2, Cathair Goodwin 0-2, Caolan Slevin 0-2 and Ryan McCusker their other scorers on the night. Castlederg emerged comfortable winners over Drumquin with Niall McHugh, Dylan McSorley, Darren Traynor and Conor Harper all playing well for the winners with Stephen McGoldrick [1], Stephen McBride [1-0], Cormac Rodgers [3], Brian Fury [1] and Daniel Patterson [2] getting the Wolfe Tones’ scores.

Derrylaughan maintained their perfect start to their campaign with an emphatic win over neighbours Ardboe. It was a great all round team display from the young Kevin Barrys with Paul Donnelly [4-2], Tomas Carney [1-8], Caolan Corr [2-3], James Donnelly [1-5], Brendan Kennedy [1-1] and Cathal Canavan [1-0] their scorers on the night. Galbally remain on course for a place in the quarter finals after a comfortable win over Dungannon at Pearse Park. Caoimhin Quinn, Kieran Holland, Callum Kelly, Daniel Kerr and centre half back Dylan McVeigh all featured on the score board for the Pearses with Ethan Burns and Gavin Murray both finding the net for the Clarkes.

Donaghmore produced a storming final five minutes to see off the determined challenge of Clonoe on a 7-8 to 4-9 score line. Aaron Quinn hit a goal from twenty five metres out to put the St.Patricks five in front with time running out and they never looked back. Dermot McCann weighed in with 4-1 for the winners, Eoin Kavanagh got 2-1 and Ryan Cush weighed in with a trio of points on a night when they had good displays from Ryan Daly, Cathal McAleer and Conor Woods as well. Moortown defeated Coalisland with the help of goals from Jamie Devlin, Shaun Conway and James Devlin with Kevin Kelly, Conor McVeigh and Callum Gallagher all playing well for the St.Malachys. Rock had a comfortable win on a night when Liam Nugent hit 1-12 from midfield and Conor McGarrity and Aidan Corrigan also found the net with Cormac O’Neill and Conor Barrow also playing well.
