Grade 1

The game of the day in Grade 1 saw Loughmacrory edge past Donaghmore at home, 2-9 to 2-7 the final scoreline. Both sides scored penalties with Dara Curran’s effort leaving it level at the end of a low scoring first half, 1-3 each. Pearse Toner and Shan McDonald played well in defence for the winners with Conway having a solid game in midfield while Cormac Ward and Cormac McWilliams were dangerous up front. Neason Curran found the net for Donaghmore with Tommy Haughey and Mark Hughes featuring among their points while Dara Walshe and Danny McKillion played well in defence for them.

 

Errigal Ciaran remain at the business end of the table as well after seeing off the challenge of Galbally at Dunmoyle. Hugh Gormley and Liam Harte were among their goals on a day when Daithi McCullagh and Kayden McGirr had good performances in defence for them. Sean Allen, Oliver Quinn, Niall McGrath, Micheal McGeary, Cahir Carberry and Finbar McVeigh were to the fore for the Pearses.

 

Ardboe made home advantage count against Eglish, 2-13 to 0-12 the final scoreline at Coney Park. Caolan McNally and Shea Canavan got the goals for the Rossas with Joey McGuigan and Conall O’Neill both weighing in with points. Jack McGuckin played well in goals for Ardboe with Ethan Martin and Shea Hughes also in good form in defence.

 

Carrickmore produced a fine attacking display to win away to Fintona. Keevon Magill, Peter Grogan, Micheál Kerr and MJ Penrose all found the net for the visitors with Fintan McWilliams, Jamie Penrose, Cathair McMahon and Oliver Kerr all providing points.

 

 

Grade 2

Beragh emerged 4-12 to 3-9 winners at home to Moy as they collected their first points of the campaign. Caolan Conroy, Daithi Kelly, Michael McCartan, Donnacha Harley and Donnacha Daffy all had scores for the Red Knights with massive performances coming from Finn Donnelly, Darragh Donnelly, Daithi Farley, Oisin Boyle and keeper Conor Lappin who pulled off a number of saves. Donal Devlin 0-5, James Rafferty 1-1, Kevin Barry Kelly 0-3, Jack Lawless 1-0 and Davin McQuade 1-0 were the Moy marksmen with good displays in defence coming from Tomas Og McNicholl and Ronan Conlan.

 

Trillick produced a good display to get the better of Cappagh at Donnelly Park. Jarlath McElholm, Jack Gurren and Daithi Gurren got the goals for the St.Macartans with Peadar McCann, Billy McElholm and Matthew Farry getting among their points with good displays coming from Jack McGurren, Jarlath McElholm and Dualta McNabb. Joe Chism and Frank McFadden were Cappagh’s best players on the day.

 

Dungannon made the trip to play Aghyaran when goals won the day for the Davog’s. Daire Doran top scored for the Clarkes with 0-5 to his name with Cain Little and Conor Devlin both finding the net.

 

Dromore came out on top at the Loughshore against Moortown. Pascal Donnelly, Pearse McGrath and Michael Dara O’Brien got the goals for the St.Dympnas with O’Brien and Andrew Teague standing out in defence while Matthew Molloy, Daire McKenna and Harry O’Neill played well in the forward line.

 

Clonoe racked up a good tally against Kildress at Gortacladdy. Conor Coney led the way in the scoring stakes for the Rahillys with an impressive 1-7 to his name with Kylan Preece 1-2, Ronan McCabe 1-1, Matthew McNally 0-2, Reece Donnelly 0-2, James O’Neill, Riley Hoey and John Joe Taggart their other scorers. There were good performances from Fionn Lappin in defence, Reece Donnelly in midfield and Conor Coney up front. Ethan McCormack played well in goals for the Wolfe Tones as did Shay Grimes and Caoimhin Heagney 0-2 in defence and Matthew McLaughlin, Rory Grimes 0-5, and Jamie Loughran 1-3 in attack.

 

Goals proved to be the difference as Killeeshil won at home to Pomeroy. The home side trailed by three points at the break but a big second half display saw them turn things around in style. Matthew Donaghy led the way in the scoring stakes with a fine 2-6 to his name with Barry Daly 1-3, James McKillion 1-2 and James Hughes 1-0 also contributing on the scoresheet while Cathair Mulgrew, Ciaran Quinn and Darragh Mallon all played well in their defence. Dan Black, Paudie McGoldrick and Cahir McNamee were among the scorers for the Plunketts with Joe McCaul, Daniel McMahon and Michael Kane all having fine games in defence for the visitors.

 

 

Grade 3

Eskra produced a fine display to win away to Gortin. Cormac McGarvey 1-8, Noah Woods 2-2, Ben Scullion 2-2 and Eoin McGirr 1-0 were the scorers for the Emmetts with Conor Corrigan and Thomas Cullinan both playing well and Ronan McGarvey producing a man of the match performance. Oisin Daly, Cahir Devery, Harry McCrossan and Daire O’Kane all played well for Gortin.

 

Na Doiri Og’s ability to get goals proved to be key as they won in Greencastle. Cillian Rea was on fire with 4-1 to his name with other scores coming from Daithí Cushnahan 1-6, Joey Devlin 1-0, Sean Og McAliskey, Micheal McKeown, Kyle Donaghy and Cameron O’Neill. Daire Robinson was solid in gaols for the winners with Shannon Duff, Jamie Duffy and Ronan Donnelly all playing well in defence. John Anthony McCullagh 1-1, Shea Gumley 0-3 and Rafaphael were among the Greencastle scorers with strong defensive displays coming from Oisin Donnelly, Cathair Conway and Rafaphael.

 

Clogher got the better of Strabane in a high scoring clash at St.Patricks Park. It was all square at the break but the Eie Ogs produced a brilliant second half display to come out on top. Daniel McGuinness, Eoghan Shortt, Fionnan Welford and Senan McElroy all found the net for Clogher and they contributed points as well with Eoghan McElroy, Darcy Keenan, Flynn McKenna and Eoghan Watson raising white flags as well. There was great work around the middle from Enda Moynagh with good displays in defence from Eoghan Hegarty and Eoin F McConnell while Senan Ricardo did well in nets. Alfie McGlynn, Jay Earley ad Cillian McElduff got the Sigersons goals with Charlie Devine and Ronan McCrossan featuring among their points.

 

Naomh Brid proved too strong at home for a battling Drumragh side. Joseph Fyffe, Ruairi Doherty and Stephen Hughes were among the scorers for the Sarsfields on a day when they also had good performances from Daire Colton, Bobby Colton and Conn Keyes.

 

 

Grade 4

Tattyreagh were 4-13 to 4-5 winners at home to Drumquin. Senan Darcy 2-2, Daniel Norris 0-6, Noah Darcy 2-0, Joe Teague 0-3 and James Colton 0-2 were the Tattyreagh marksmen with keeper Pearse McGloin helping ensure they got the win thanks to a number of superb saves. Tom Conlin and Daire Irwin played well in the Drumquin defence as id Cahir Cassidy in attack.

 

Goals were the difference at the final whistle as Rock won at home to Stewartstown. Daithi McLaughlin came off the bench to hit two goals for the winners with fellow substitute Bobby Bloomer also on target on a day when Aidan Dynes, Conall McAlinden and Tomas Kirwin all played well for Rock. Jake McElhatton 0-3, Conor Hughes 0-2, James Wylie 0-2 and Noah McElhatton were the scorers for the Harps with Conan Kelly and JR Megaw both playing well in defence as did keeper Cormac Cunningham who saved a penalty.

 

Brackaville won a high scoring thriller away to Sperrin Gaels, 5-9 to 2-14 the final scoreline. Joseph Gillis top scored for the Roes with 2-3 to his name with Conan Bradley 1-2, Daniel McCrossan 1-1, Peadar Lavery 1-1 and Jayden Lawerence 0-2 their other marksmen with Riley Lawerence, Lavery, Cillian Maloney and Bradley all played well for them.

 

Augher were 4-11 to 3-7 winners over Urney at Father Hackett Park. Ethan Neill played well in goals throughout for the St.Macartans with Proinsias Donnelly and Flynn Shelin standing out in their defence with Cormac Donnelly impressing throughout up front while Shea O’Connor 1-3 had a strong second half display.

 

 

Development League

Errigal Ciaran defeated Galbally at home in a high scoring encounter. Darragh McAnenly 4-2, Cillian Kolbohm 1-3 and Eoghan McCann 2-0 were on target for the hosts with Jarlath McCann, Darragh Sommerville and Finnian Armstrong playing well for them. Ben Grieve, Daniel Tally, Conan Mulgrew, Liam Tally and Reece McGee all played well for Galbally.
