U14 League Wrap Up In Association With J & K Coaches

In grade one Cappagh put up a good battle before losing narrowly away to Clonoe, 3-13 to 3-11.Tiya O’Neill, Charlie Meenan and Louie McFadden got the visitors goals with Meenan, Callum Baxter and Jamie Kelly supplying points while Keelan McKinney played well in defence as did Meenan in midfield.

 

It finished all square in Dunmoyle between Errigal Ciaran and Cookstown, 4-10 to 5-7. Michael McDermott was in fine form for the home side with 1-8 to his name with Conan Canavan getting a brace of goals and Jamie McGinley also finding the net while Jamie Martin and Senan McGarvey scored points. Jack Kelly, Jamie Martin and Matthew O’Donnell all played well for Errigal Ciaran to.

 

Lorcan Meenagh, Ciaran McCrystal, Ruairi McNamee, Cormac Gallagher and Micheal McCrystal were among the scorers with Eoin Kelly and Cormac Fox playing well as Loughmacrory defeated Trillick at home. Matthew Garrity and Daithi McGurren got the Trillick goals with Aodhan Corry and Tomas McElholm among the points and Oisin McGurren and Cormac Ratchford playing well.

 

In grade two Dromore proved too strong at home for Omagh with Shea O’Donnell and Nathan McCusker notching 1-2 each for the St.Dympnas with Tiernan McCarron standing out in their defence and Oran Kelly fantastic in goals.

 

Fintona ended the unbeaten record of Beragh after an entertaining encounter, 4-8 to 2-10 the final scoreline. The Pearses led 2-4 to 0-3 at the break with some fine scoring from Dara McMenamin, Tomas Gallen, Cahir Cassidy, Ryan Fee and Sean Donnelly. The winners had solid performances all over the pitch with Rory Partington, Cillian Donnelly, Igor Samulewicz and Donnchadh Bennett to the fore.  Enda Lynch played very well in goals for the Red Knights with Eoghan Loughran converting a penalty for them with Jack Devlin scoring 1-3 on his return from injury.

 

 

Greencastle recorded a good win away to Edendork with their scores coming from Marcus Conway 1-5, Seonag Harte 2-0, Shane Molloy 0-3, Donal Dennehy 1-0, Cathan McDermott 1-0, Tarlach Tracey 0-2, Michael McElduff 0-1 and Cailum McKenna 0-1.

 

In grade three Naomh Eoghan lost out on their travels away to Edendork. Paddy Flanagan, Alex Pattison and Aaron O’Lone were among the visitors scorers with Jace Harpur, Ciabhan Kilpatrick, Ben Gillespie and Oisin Devine playing well for them.

 

 

Eskra turned in an impressive display at home to Strabane to collect the two league points. They had first half scores from Dara McGarvey 1-4, James Scullion 2-1, Daithi McNamee 1-2 and Cormac McGarvey 0-1 and in the second half McNamee 0-4, Scullion 0-1, Jack Kelly 1-0 and McGarvey 1-1. Mattie McKenna did well in goals with Christie Meegan, Michael Donnelly and Jack McCarroll to the fore as well.

 

Owen Roes were convincing winners away to Moortown. Ross Elliot Doherty (3) and Conal Kelly got their goals with Fintan Coyle, Daire Houston, Shea Houston, Lorcan Kelly, Jack McFadden, Daithi McDaid and Finn Philips all weighing in with points.

 

 

Cormac Darcy scored 1-6 and Tristan McKnight got a trio of points while Meehal McGrath was good at full back but it wasn’t enough for Tattyreagh as they suffered a narrow 3-7 to 1-9 defeat away to Coalisland.

 

 

 

In grade four Aghaloo and Castlederg shared the spoils as it finished 0-15 to 2-9.Ethan McCarron, Tiernan McCarron and Darragh McGinn got points for Aghaloo with the latter getting the equaliser while Eoin Rafferty was solid in their defence with keeper Peter McCreedy making a few great saves. Kian McMenamin and Oisin Harvey both scored 1-1 for Castlederg with Dylan McCrory 2, Lorcan McHugh 2, Aodhan Gallagher 2 and Cormac Meehan getting points on a day when Eunan Friel was unbelievable in their goals and Caden Keenan, Harvey, Aodhan Gallagher, McHugh and John Gallagher all played well.

 

 

Aghyaran edged out Augher in a high scoring thriller, 9-12 to 7-14. Good performances in defence from Patrick Dolan and Adam Baird enabled the St.Davogs to go in at halftime with a healthy lead. Augher fought back in the second half to close the gap but Aghyaran held out for victory. Liam Connolly and Charlie Byrne got goals and points for the St.Davogs with corner back Oisin Connolly, Proinsias McElhill and Jamie Byrne on target as well. Daniel Gormley, Shea O’Connor and Riley Shevlin got the Augher goals, Darragh Gormley and Conal Shevlin had points and Matthew McKenna and Oran Treanor both played well.

 

 

Drumquin came from behind at halftime to edge past Brackaville at home, 1-12 to 2-8. Joe O’Kane got the goal for the Wolfe Tones with Daire McCaffrey, Sean Gormley, Cillian Mullan, Cahir McCallion and Sean McMenamin among their points with Peter McCusker, Conor O’Kane, Joe Kearney and Daithi Mackey turning in good performances.

 

In the development league Fintona had a comfortable win over Kildress. Eoin Wilson, Ronan McCann and Jack Irwin all played well for the Pearses with Fionn Donnelly, Malachy Pearson, Conor Goodman and Sean McCarney featuring among their scorers.
