The latest round of games in the U14 league took place at the weekend and there were once again some interesting results. Derrylaughan remain unbeaten following a comfortable win against Coalisland on a night when all six of their forwards got on the score sheet. Tomas Carney [1-6], Shay Gordon [2-3], Paul Donnelly [1-2], James Donnelly [1-2] and Brian Kennedy [1-2] all scored for the Kevin Barrys with Gavin and Caolan Corr solid in defence for the winners.

Newtownstewart had a good 1-9 to 0-8 win over Pomeroy with Eoin Donnelly [1-1] getting the only goal of the game and Patrick Hargan [3], Stephen Patton [2], Ciaran McSorley [2] and Tori Nicholls their point scorers. Drumquin lost out to Clann na Gael with Daniel Patterson [1-2], Stephen McGoldrick [1-1] and Cormac Rodgers the Wolfe Tones scorers.

Rock had a good win over Tattyreagh with Conor McGarrity [3-2], Ronan McKernan [2-1], Adrian Barrow [1-3] and Liam Nugent [1-2] their scorers on a day when Mark and Conor Ward were excellent in defence with Cormac O’Neill very steady throughout. Cookstown proved too strong for Donaghmore with Aaron Quinn, Ciaran McGuckin and Dermot McCann the best players on show for the St.Patricks.

Dungannon beat Ardboe 6-5 to 3-5 with Oisin Cowan, Ethan Burns, Daley Jones, James Morgan and Mark McKearney all scoring for the young Clarkes with Eoin Lynn and Od Devlin getting the goals for the Rossas on a night when Ronan Cassidy in goals, Conall Devlin and Adam Coney in defence, Eoin Lynn in midfield and Od Devlin and Sean McClean all played well for Ardboe. Moortown had a comfortable win at home to Galbally with Kevin Kelly and Eoin Quinn in defence, Emmett McGuigan in midfield and Shaun Conway and Mark McCusker all playing well for the St.Malachys, Kieran Holland, Callum Kelly and Daniel Kerr with points for the Pearses.
