Despite scoring 8-11 away from home Dromore still bowed out of the grade 1 league at the quarter final stage when they lost a high scoring encounter at Cookstown. Adrian McGurren was impressive for the St.Dympnas with 5-2 to his name with his brother Fergal weighing in with 2-3 and Jack Donnelly 1-2, Shea O’Donnell 0-2 and Oisin Colton all on target as well. Lorcan McMurray top scored for the Father Rocks with 2-7 while Eoin Long notched 2-4 and Karl Wawrynkiewicz got 2-2 for the Father Rocks.
Carrickmore booked their place in the last four with an emphatic 6-11 to 1-11 victory at Fintona. Phelim McCrory got a brace of goals for the St.Colmcilles with Vincent Gormley, Ryan Donaghy, Michael McCallan and Braydon McNally raising green flags as well while Poogie Donaghy and Shea Monroe had points. Senan Monroe, Sean Donnelly and Caolan Martin all played well for Carrickmore as well. Oisin Watson top scored for the Pearses with 0-9 to his name with Peter Colton 1-1 and Diarmuid Martin 0-3 their other marksmen while Eoin Maguire and Owen Maguire also played well for them.
Errigal Ciaran will play Carrickmore in the semi final after they beat Donaghmore 1-16 to 2-9 at Dunmoyle. Shea McDermott led the way in the scoring stakes for the winners with 1-5 to his name with Senan Canavan 0-4, Dan Loughran 0-3, Charlie Maguire 0-2 and Ciaran Mullin 0-2 also on target on a day when Aodhan Quinn and Jude Curran also played well for the winners. Darragh O’Callaghan and Matthew Hamill got the Donaghmore goals.
Greencastle are through to the grade two final after they won a thriller away to neighbours Cappagh, 2-11 to 2-10. Sean Og Teague was in superb form for the winners with 1-8 to his name including two pressure frees at the end to decide the outcome. Myles McElduff 1-0, Eoghan Conway 0-1, Caolan Tracey 0-1 and Darragh Morris 0-1 were the other Greencastle marksmen.
Drumragh are into the grade three final after holding off a determined challenge from Eskra to come through on a 4-11 to 5-4 scoreline after extra time. James Fyffe 1-3, Aidan McCarney 0-5, Conor Gormley 1-1, Ryan Baxter 1-1, Dylan Lowry 1-0 and Turlough Collins 0-1 were the scorers for the Sarsfields with Matthew Barrett, Dara Cox and Shea Mullin all having great games for them in defence. Matthew McKenna, Dara McGarvey, Sean Montique, Daithi McNamee and Jack Kelly got the Eskra goals with Ronan Donnelly, Eoin McEvoy and McGarvey supplying points on a day when Darragh O’Hagan, Ciaran McCarroll, McKenna, Christy Meegan, Donnelly and McNamee were all to the fore.
Aghyaran lost away to Castlederg in their final league game of the campaign despite scores from Chris McGlinchey, Ruairi Moss and Oisin Moss and good displays from Cahir Moss, Liam Byrne and Conan Duggan.
