The latest round of U16 fixtures took place on Friday evening. Stewartstown were comfortable 4-12 to 2-7 winners over Brocagh with Dylan McElhatton 2-3, Shay Burke 1-4, Steven Talbot 1-0, Fergal Mulgrew 0-2, Mark O’Neill 0-2 and Cumhai O’Neill 0-1 their scorers with Tony O’Donnell, Cumhai O’Neill, Conor Lowe, Shay Burke and James Mitchell all playing well for the Harps. Errigal Ciaran edged out Newtownstewart on a 4-10 to 2-13 scoreline. Michael Corless 0-5, Patrick Hargan 1-1, Eoin Bradley 1-0, Gary Duffy 0-3, Eoin Donnelly 0-1, Brandon O’Goan 0-1, Barry Armstrong 0-1 and David Patton 0-1 were the scorers for the St.Eugenes with Oisin McMenamin, Eoin Donnelly, David Patton and Patrick Hargan playing well for them. Cathal Quinn at centre half back was the best player for the Dunmoyle based lads.

Kileeshil defeated Loughmacrory 2-10 to 1-9 with Daniel Millar and Cormac Donaghy getting their goals with Pascal Donaghy, Louis Conlon and Darragh Hamill featuring among the points with Glen Gallagher, Ryan Doyle and James Murray playing well for them. Pomeroy had a resounding win away to Eglish with Shay Hagan hitting 2-1 and Odhran Corrigan contributing four points for the Plunketts. Moortown continued their impressive start to the season when they had a convincing win against neighbours Derrylaughan with Tiernan Corr, Gerard Kelly and Rian McLernon standing out in defence, James Devlin and Callum Gallagher immense in midfield and Conan McLernon [2-6] and Shaun Conway leading the way up front.

Gaul Naomh Padraig beat Rock with Padraig Ward 1-1, Sean Moran 1-0 and Martin Corrigan 0-3 the scorers for the St.Patricks on a night when their best players were Cormac O’Neill and Padraig Ward. Brackaville beat Derrytresk by the minimum margin in a cracking encounter, 5-9 to 5-8 the final scoreline. Caolan Campbell 2-1, Aidan Gavin 1-0, Ultan MacAoidh 2-1, Colin McCaffery 0-1, Fintan Campbell 0-2, Johnny Campbell 0-1 and Daibhog MacAoidh 0-1 were the Derrytresk scorers.
