U16 Wrap Up

The latest round of U16 league games took place on Wednesday evening with action in all grades. Killeeshil were comfortable 6-10 to 2-8 winners over Kildress with Darragh Hamill, Naoise Martin, Glen Gallagher, Tomas Hoy and Daniel Millar getting their goals with Pascal Donaghy, Liam Hughes, Ryan Doyle, James Murray and Louis Conlon all supplying points on a night when Shea Skeffington was excellent in defence. Derrytresk beat Eskra with Mark Earley, Cathal Arkinson and Caolan McGirr all playing well for the Emmetts.

Moortown made it six wins out of six when they accounted for Dungannon on a 4-12 to 1-7 scoreline with Jack McGuigan hitting 2-1 and Jamie Devlin scoring seven points with Shane McKeown and Shaun Conway both playing well for the St.Malachys. Cormac Harte, Turlough Meenagh and Colm Logue got the Loughmacrory goals with Conor O’Donnell playing well but they lost 3-11 to 3-5 to Rock.

Carrickmore had a couple of points to spare over neighbours Cappagh with Aidan Fullerton finding the net and Ciaran Daly, Conor Loughran and Dean Rafferty all playing well for the St.Colmcilles and keeper Enda Hughes making a great save near the end to ensure victory. PT Cunningham, E Teague and C Mallon were best on the night for the visitors. Gortin defeated Omagh “B” in a high scoring encounter with P McCullagh, C Brolly, O McNulty, S O’Neill, S McAleer and P Bradley all on target for the young St.Patricks. Coalisland had an emphatic win over Ardboe with Ryan Magee, Michael McKernan, Rhys Teague and Gavin Graham all playing well for the Fianna. Fintona and Greencastle drew 1-10 each with Owen Keenan 0-4, Cathal Leadly 1-1, Liam Maguire 0-2, Liam Clarke 0-1, Niall Murray 0-1 and Reece Partington 0-1 the Pearses scorers.

Newtownstewart were comfortable winners over Tattyreagh with Patrick Hargan 2-2, Michael Coreless 1-2, Eoin Donnelly 1-2, Ciaran McSorley 1-0, Brandon O’Goan 0-1, Gary Duffy 0-1 and David Patton 0-1 their scorers with O’Goan, Piaras McNamee, Duffy, Hargan, David Patton and Stephen Patton all playing well for the St.Eugenes.
