Dromore defeated neighbours Fintona 2-14 to 0-9 in the U16 league on Wednesday evening. The St.Dympnas led 1-5 to 0-5 at the break with Pearse Muldoon getting the goal and Joe McCusker [2], Peter Teague, Fergal O’Neill and Aidan McGrath weighing in with their points, Tom McGrath with all but one of the Pearses’ tally. McGrath scored all of Fintona’s second half points but it wasn’t enough on the night with Aidan McGrath getting another Dromore goal and McCusker, O’Neill, Declan McNulty and Ciaran McCormack all tagging on points.

Ardboe completed the double over Donaghmore when they triumphed 4-10 to 0-7 at Father Devlin Park. Barry Devlin and Michael Lynn scored 2-1 each with Nathan Bell and Aidan O’Neill hitting a trio of points each while David Mulgrew grabbed a brace on a night when the Rossas full back line and Kevin Coney were outstanding in defence with their midfield working tirelessly as well.

Strabane had a thirteen point win over Errigal Ciaran on a score line of 4-18 to 3-8. Errigal battled gamely with sound displays from Peter Cassidy and Paudge Mc Anenly in particular but found the Sigersons too strong to handle. Scorers for Errigal Paudge Mc Anenly 2-4, Paddy O’Neil 0-3, Padraig Mc Girr 1-0 and Mark Kavanagh 0-1.
