The All Ireland Camogie Féile took place in Ulster over the weekend with two Tyrone clubs represented in the finals. Eglish and Éire Óg of Carrickmore took the decision early in the year to host clubs for the event which gave them automatic entry. The winners’ of each county Féile did not receive automatic entry into this year’s competition. Tyrone did hold their annual county Féile and Eglish came out worthy winners.

Eglish greeted Na Brid Óga of county Mayo while Éire Óg played host to Westport. Eire Og were graded in Division 4 and Eglish in Division 3. This year’s Féile has seen huge changes in layout and format from previous years. The games consisted of two fifteen minute halves with the additional rule that substitutes must be used within the first ten minutes. This allowed for more players to be used throughout the game. There were two parades held this year with one in Derry and the other in the Armagh Athletic Grounds on Friday evening.
