Eskra Emmetts made sure that this year’s Ulster League Intermediate Football Final will be an all Tyrone contest following their eight point win away to Malin of Donegal this afternoon. Eskra played with the wind at their backs in the first half and led by eight points at the short whistle with Paul Turbett getting his team’s goal and Peter Hughes and Ryan Gartland among the point scorers as The Emmetts reached the short whistle 1-9 to 0-4 ahead. Although Malin did play better in the second half the Tyrone side kept them comfortably at arm’s length winning 1-16 to 1-8 at the end.

It is thought that the final between Galbally and Eskra will take place next weekend.
