Brocagh claimed the Ulster Junior League title after defeating Derry side Magilligan in the final played on Sunday at Newbridge.

Played in difficult conditions the Emmetts produced a fine team display to claim their first trophy in more than thirty years on a 0-15 to 2-4 score.

Mickey Hughes (0-4) top scored in the first half while Michael Carolan, Tiernan O’Neill and Barry landed a point apiece as the Tyrone men reached the break leading 0-7 to 1-2.

Brocagh’s ability to create chances and take points in difficult conditions proved decisive in the final outcome. Magilligan did find the net with a goal in each half but the Emmetts were never really in trouble.

Mickey Hughes (2), Ciaran Donnelly (2), Owen Canavan and Niall Mc Closkey were all on target as Brocagh eased to a five point win and a deserved Ulster title.
