Ulster Minor League Gets Underway This Week

With the hopeful positive conclusion from a Tyrone point of view of the Mac Rory Cup on Monday March 17th all thoughts of the county’s young footballers will turn towards the commencement of the Ulster Minor League.
Tyrone minors competitive season gets under way when the Ulster Minor League campaign begins away to Antrim on Tuesday night at 7:30pm.Mickey Donnelly’s young side will then face Derry at home next Saturday with the remaining two fixtures scheduled for the following two Saturdays. The third group game sees Tyrone travelling to Donegal before their final league fixture at home to Fermanagh.
The management will be hoping to build a winning run but more importantly than that they will be keen to get a close look at as many of their panel in competitive action as possible. Tyrone have enjoyed some good fortune in the Ulster Minor League in recent seasons and know the benefit of reaching the knock out stages.
