Following the decision of the Tyrone County Board to postpone all GAA activities within the county as a mark of respect following the tragic death of Michaela Mc Areavey it has been decided to also postpone the Ulster Final of Scor na nOg. The competition was to have been held in Silverbridge South Armagh on Saturday January 15th with Tyrone taking part in seven out of the eight disciplines but this has now been put off until next weekend. The only competition Tyrone will not be represented in is the novelty act.

This decision to delay the Ulster Final for a week will also impact on the proposed schedule for Senior Scor within Tyrone. Next weekend was to have seen a full three nights of first round Senior Scor action but these plans have now been changed and the first round will now be completed on the last weekend of January with Kileeshil and Carrickmore the venues for the final two first rounds of competition.
