Ulster Title For Eire Óg
Monday 01.12.2025
Tyrone champions Eire Óg produced a superb second half to see off the threat of Lisbellaw in the Ulster Intermediate final in Clones on Sunday. The Carrickmore based side began well before being railed in by their opponents late in the first half. They came out for the second half like men on a mission.

Early scores from Aidan Kelly, Shea Munroe, Conn Sweeney and Aidan Woods put Eire Òg in a strong position with Lisbellaw’s only response coming from Francie Mc Brien. Points from Kelly and Conor Grogan stretched their team’s lead to six 0-8 to 0-2 as Eire Òg built on their good start,
However Lisbellaw eventually found their feet and scores from John Duffy and Ciaran Corrigan reduced the Eire Òg lead to three with half time rapidly approaching. A further point from Caolan Duffy had the gap down to two and both sides left the field knowing there was plenty to play for in the second half.
Seamus Sweeney pointed shortly after the restart before Sean Òg Grogan found the net for Eire Òg. The Carrickmore side continued to dominate and Aidan Kelly fired over his tenth point of the game. Lisbellaw battled hard to get themselves back in the game but it was a case of too little too late and points from Shea Munroe and Aidan Kelly secured the win and the title for Eire Óg.
Final score Eire Óg 1-18, Lisbellaw 0-15.
