Ulster U21 Hurling Shield Final
Wednesday 20.06.2012
Tyrone lost out in the Ulster U21 Hurling Shield final on Wednesday evening when they were beaten 0-12 to 0-10 by neighbours Fermanagh at Clones. Things were looking good for the Red Hands at the break as they led 0-7 to 0-5 with Damian Casey hitting five points with Gerard Gilmore and Tiarnan Morgan also on target. They also hit nine wides in the opening period and they paid the price after the break as they failed to play the Hurling that they are capable of with Casey and Bryan McGurk supplying points.
