Omagh St Endas hosted local rivals Killyclogher in the latest round of the under 14 league this evening. Both teams were short several regulars due to holidays but Killyclogher were also minus the services of top scoring forward Matthew Mc Aleer who suffered a broken arm in the Feile competition on Saturday. Omagh had enjoyed a comprehensive win over their neighbours in the championship three weeks ago but it was Killyclogher who emerged victorious tonight on a scoreline of 3-10 to 2-8. Conor Teague and PT Cunningham netted goals for the winners but the biggest cheer of the night came when injured defender Martin Gorman blasted the ball to the roof of the net with minutes left to seal the win for Killyclogher.

Ardboe gave their chances of qualifying for the league quarter finals a huge shot in the arm when they travelled to Pearse Park and defeated section 1A leaders Galbally with David Mulgrew giving a man of the match performance for the Rossas, Colin Campbell, Daniel Kerr and Colm McAleer among the scorers for the hosts. Moortown moved joint top of the same section with a comfortable win over Dungannon. James Devlin [1-2], Jamie Devlin [1-1], S McKeown [1-1], Jack McGuigan, D Quinn [3] and C McLarnon [4] all got scores for the St.Malachys while  Joe Sally, Lorcan Mallon and the two Molloys playing well for the Clarkes. Coalisland defeated neighbours Clonoe with Aaron Devlin scoring two goals for the O’Rahillys and Ryan Morrow also finding the net.

Brackaville defeated Naomh Padraig 7-4 to 3-10. Jamie Devlin scored 5-1 for the winners with Kylan Thomas hitting 2-2. Eoin Loughran, Stephen Anderson and Brian Casey all played well for the Roes with their keeper Daniel Talbot saving a last minute penalty. Strabane produced one of their best performances of the season to date when they had a landslide win over Gortin with Tom McDermott leading the way in the scoring stakes with 2-7 to his name. Rock took on Aghaloo and in a very high scoring encounter it finished all square 6-10 to 7-7. Padraig Ward scored 2-6 for the St.Patricks with Ronan McKernan [2-1], Caolan Devlin [1-2] and Martin Corrigan [1-1] their other scorers.

Tattyreagh came out on top against Glenelly with Cormac McLaughlin scoring 3-2 and Eoin Murray getting 1-2 and there were good displays from James Darcy, Jude Harkin and Johnny Harkin. Drumquin defeated Urney 5-17 to 3-5 with Gary MacComany scoring 2-3, James O’Kane and Conor McHugh grabbing 1-2 each, Cormac Rodgers landing four points, James McDonagh scoring 1-1 and Joe Gormley [2] and Decal Lunny also on target.  Darius Bogle top scored for the St.Columbas with 1-2, Sean Maxwell also found the net while Paul McGrenra scored a couple of points with Bogle, Kyle McBride and keeper Lee Crawford among their best players on the night. Eskra also picked up a very good win with Michael Woods [2-5], Jason Meegan [3], Brendan O’Hagan [1-0], Conal Murray, Kieran Taggart and centre half back Cathal Arkinson among their scorers with Conor Early and Conor McDermott both playing well.

Beragh picked up their first win of the season when they got the better of Loughmacrory. Oisin Donnelly, Darren McNelis and Oisin Treacy all featured on the score sheet for the Red Knights with keeper Ryan Donnelly pulling off a couple of great saves with Tiarnan McCrystal, Eoin Grimes, Callum Corrigan, Ben McSorley, Aaron Owens and Jack Campbell all playing well too.  Ryan Curran, Colum Logue and Cathair Gallagher scored goals for Loughmacrory with Mickey Rafferty and Aiden Donaghy both playing well but on the night they were beaten by eleven points. Derrylaughan defeated Pomeroy 4-14 to 1-16 with Shay Gordon [1-4], Brian Kennedy [1-2], Tomas Carney [4], James Donnelly [4], Shane Crew [1-0] and Paul Donnelly [1-0] all on target on a night when Gavin Corr, John Donaghy, Carney, Gordon and Kennedy all played well.  Dromore suffered their first defeat of the season when they lost out to Carrickmore on a 4-14 to 4-4 score line with Conor McGurren, Odhran Rafferty and Ruairi Gallagher all scoring goals for the St.Dympnas. Carrickmore’s scores came from Loughran O’Donnell, Pauric Kerr, Peadar Daly, Dean Rafferty, Aidan Fullerton, Conor Loughran, Ciaran Daly and Dara Casey in a very good team display from the Saint Colmcille’s youngsters.

Owen Roes took on Newtownstewart and they came out on top on a 3-11 to 1-8 score line. Ryan McAleer top scored with 1-5, Michael Dooher scored 1-1 with Sean Kelly getting their other goal while there were points from Cathal Kelly [2], Jamie McGale, Kevin Cairns and Kieran McMenamin. Other players who performed well for the winners were Jack McGeehan, Philip Haughey, Ryan Devine, Barry McDaid and Eoghain Devine. Michael Corlus, Michael Harrigan and Brendan O’Goan all played well for the St.Eugenes.
