Under 14 Wins For Drumragh And Aghyaran

The two Ladies under 14 Championship finals played on Thursday evening saw wins for Drumragh and Aghyaran. Drumragh had what appeared to be a very convincing win over Trillick with the final score being 8-08 to 2-03. However they were behind up until five minutes before half time and only led by a point at the break 2-04 to 2-03. They did dominate the second half with Josephine Quinn, Claire McSorley, Eva Mc Caul all outstanding for their side while Trillick players Moya Sweeney, Emma Brennan and Louise Mc Carney put in strong displays for the Reds. Aghyaran defeated Moy 8-10 to 2-03 in the Grade 3A final while Clonoe will take on Newtownstewart in tomorrow’s game at Dunmoyle.
