Urney defeated Aghyaran 4-10 to 1-5. Daryl Maxwell hit two goals for the winners with Ryan Wray and Sean Maxwell weighing in with a couple of points each on a day when Tiarnan Langan, Liam Langan and Daryl Maxwell all played well for the young St.Columbas. Carrickmore beat Newtownstewart 4-13 to 2-9 with Tori Nicholas [1-5], Tiernan Mayse [1-0], Jake McHugh [3] and Michael McSorley [1] the scorers for the St.Eugenes.
Dromore had a comfortable victory over neighbours Trillick on Friday night; 7-19 to 1-3 the final score line. Oran Sludden once again led the way in the scoring stakes for the recently crowned Feile champions with Odhran Rafferty, Caolan McCarron, Pearse McNabb, John McCrory, Cathal Colton and Ross Slevin getting their names on the score sheet as well on a night when keeper Ross Hunter and Padraig Quinn played well for the St.Dympnas. The Dromore “B” team lost narrowly to Castlederg, 2-11 to 2-9, with Eoghan Maguire and Christopher Mulcahy playing well for them. Strabane had a convincing win over Beragh with Eoin Grimes [5], Cathaoir Donnelly [2], Oran Treacy [1] and Liam Ward [1] the scorers for the Red Knights.
Killeeshil got the better of neighbours Donaghmore winning 3-10 to 2-10. Cormac Donaghy and Thomas Hoy got the goals for the winners while Louis Conlon, Liam Hughes, Daniel Millar and Niall Loughran were among the points. There were also good performances from Mattie Joe Mc Kenna, Michael O’Neill, Matthew Mc Cusker Chris Small and Niall Mc Elvogue.
