Carrickmore defeated neighbours Cappagh 12 points to 7 tonight in a game played in atrocious conditions. Ryan Mc Garrity showed commendable skill and composure to land five points for his side while Conan Mc Elduff, Ronan Mc Guire and Sean Loughran all had good games for the winners.
Ardboe produced a great all round team performance to defeat Clonoe 2-16 to 1-3 with oisin Devlin outstanding throughout. Ardboe’s main scorers were Caolan Mallaghan 1-3, Aidan O’Neill 1-1, Michael Lynn 0-4, Barry Devlin 0-3 while Kevin Lynch and Ruairi Haagan battled gamely for the Rahillys.
Aghyaran had a 1-13 to 2-4 win over old rivals Tattyreagh with the highlights of the night being a superb TJ Richards goal in the second half and and 8 point haul for Aghyaran’s Ronan Mc Hugh while Rock failed to field in their fixture with Castlederg. Elsewhere Dromore lost at home to Trillick 1-08 to 3-05 with the Reds producing a fine team performance to win this local derby. Daire Gallagher and Lee Brennan top scored for the winners with 1-2 and 1-3 respectively while Matt Conlon scores the winners third goal. Phil Mc Quaid was in outstanding form for Trillick with three super saves.
Moortown defeated Killeeshil in a high scoring and hard fought game winning 5-8 to 3-8. Bernard O’Neill was outstanding for Killeeshil in a game that saw Caolan Devlin hit a personal tally of 3-2. Stewartstown and Galbally were also involved in a real thriller that went right to the wire finishing all square 1-14 to 2-11. Dan Lowe top scored with 1-7 for Stewartstown in a game where Mark Glackin, Mark Rooney, Callan Burke and Darren Devlin all played well.
