It’s all change at the top of the leader board in the chase to become leading marksman in the Tyrone senior league with Clonoe’s Conor McAliskey moving two points clear of the field. Trillick’s Niall Gormley had led the way for a couple of weeks but he drops down to joint fifth place with three new names featuring in the top ten for the first time after fine individual scoring exploits last weekend namely Liam Gervin, Peter Harte and Tommy McGuigan.

Conor McAliskey [Clonoe] 1-22

Simon O’Neill [Killyclogher] 3-14

Caolan Tierney [Errigal Ciaran] 1-19

Liam Gervin [Derrylaughan] 2-16

Peter Harte [Errigal Ciaran] 1-18

Niall Gormley [Trillick] 1-18

Peter McCann [Eglish] 2-15

Eoin McCusker [Dromore] 0-20

Shane Mulgrew [Donaghmore] 1-17

Tommy McGuigan [Ardboe] 1-16

There is one change in the top ten sharpshooters list in Intermediate football with Urney’s Johnny Lafferty coming in at the expense of Killyman’s Mickey Donnelly. Enda Ward is the new leader with an impressive 0-32 to his name after his nine point haul last weekend took him three clear of the field with Kevin Mossey next in second place after scoring eight points last weekend. Ironically the top two are the only players in the lost who have yet to find the net this season. Last week’s leader Gareth Devlin has slipped to joint third.

Enda Ward [Loughmacrory] 0-32

Kevin Mossey [Gortin] 0-29

Jamie Donnelly [Augher] 1-25

Gareth Devlin [Stewartstown] 1-25

Niall Morgan [Edendork] 1-23

Conor McCreesh [Rock] 1-22

Peter Hughes [Eskra] 1-22

Gareth McDermott [Clann na Gael] 2-18

Paul Rafferty [Galbally] 1-20

Johnny Lafferty [Urney] 3-14

The top two scorers chart mirror the top two teams in Division Three as Derrytresk and Killeeshil lead the way in points acquired and scores registered. Niall Gavin (Derrytresk) with 3-23 and Packie Mc Mullan (Killeeshil) with 4-19 are separated by only a point at the top with the Hill man leading the chart on a total of thirty two points. Last week’s top man Stephen Donnellly (Aghaloo)was absent at the weekend so he drops down into joint third position where he has Drumquin’s Eamon Teague for company.  Also sharing a position in the top regions, but in joint tenth place on twenty two points each are Brian Mc Kenna (Aghaloo), Micky Rea (Derrytresk) and Kevin “Hub” Hughes(Killeeshil). Interestingly the top two teams in the league occupy five of the top twelve positions in the individual scoring charts in this division.

Mickey Rea Derrytresk 3-23 (32 points)

Packy Mc Mullan Killeeshil 4-19 (31 points)

Stephen Donnelly Aghaloo &Eamon Teague 2-22 (28 points)

Cathal Nicolas Glenelly 1-23 (26 points)

Ciaran Donnelly Brockagh & Damien Mc Dermott Errigal 3rds 1-21 (24points)

Patrick Quinn Dungannon 3-14 and Shane Mallon Killeeshil 1-20 (23 points)

Brian Mc Kenna  Aghaloo 4-10, Kevin Hughes 3-13 and Micky Rea Derrytresk 2-16 (22 points)

Just outside the top twelve on twenty one points each are Mark Corry Castlederg, Michael Hughes Brockagh, Michael Harte Errigal 3rds and Conor Taggart Tattyreagh. With such quality players in and around the top fifteen there is bound to be lots of changes on the leader board in the coming weeks.
