Urney Still In The Running

The Division three promotion play off series continued at the weekend with Brackaville making the long run to Urney where the home side ran out convincing winners on a scoreline of 3-12 to 0-9. Two first half goals helped Urney reach the break leading 2-6 to 0-6.
Keith Nelis in goals produced a fine display for his team while Anthony Crossan’s workrate in the middle of the field stood out for Urney. There were also solid displays from Luke Kelly, Adrian Maxwell and Sean Mc Gowan. Top scoring returns on the day came from Jon Pol Mc Menamin (1-1), Luke Kelly (1-1), Conor Mc Daid (1-2), Ryan Henry (0-4), Jamie Mc Aleer, (0-2), Adrian Maxwell and Sean Hughes 0-1 each.
Brackaville finished the contest with fourteen players following a second yellow card for Ronan Mc Hugh.
