USGAA| Academy Qualify For Quarter Finals

St.Patricks Academy Dungannon qualified for the quarter finals of the Danske Bank Rannafast Cup but not before they were given a fright by St.Louis Ballymena at Ballinderry on Tuesday afternoon. The Antrim lads found the net three times in the first half to deservedly lead 3-3 to 0-7 at the break. In the second half Dungannon had the wind and they played a lot better although their opponents hit the post with a goal chance in injury time as it finished 3-5 to 0-14. Michael Conroy top scored for the Academy with nine points while Tiarnan Loughran and Ryan McCabe got a couple each.
